How to run MS Edge in old ie6 compatibility mode

Step 1: Open Edge (run msedge.exe) and put this on to address bar edge://compat/sitelistmanager

Step 2: Click to Add a site 

Add site address here

Step 3: Close all tabs in Edge and reopen Edge again

Step 4: Re-open the address you were trying to get to in ie5 or ie 6 mode, and choose options as below

If it shows Compatibility Mode is IE5, so it will work.

Step 5: Turn off block Pop-ups

- Go to Settings on Edge

- Go to Cookies and site permissions

- Choose Pop-ups and redirects on the right panel

- Click Add and add the address of the site you are trying to get to and Add

Now Close Edge and try site address once more.
